Terms of service

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract.
• You need a verified phone number to post or message. Give accurate information and keep your account to yourself.
• One person, one account. Do not create accounts to evade a block or a suspension.

Roomeyra is a place to meet. We do not own, inspect or manage rooms, and we are not a landlord, agent or broker. Any agreement to share a home is between you and the other person. We do not hold or process rent or deposits. See the room in person and read any lease before you pay anything.

• Only post a room you have the right to offer, and keep it accurate: rent, rules, who lives there, and whether it is still available.
• Mark a room as rented, or pause it, when it is no longer open. Posts that are not confirmed for four weeks are paused automatically.
• Photos must be yours or ones you have permission to use, and must show the actual room.
• You can state firm house rules and who lives in the home. Describe how your home runs; do not exclude people because of race, color, religion, national origin, disability or family status. Posts that do will be removed.

• Scams, fake or duplicate posts, or asking for money before someone has seen the room.
• Harassment, threats, hate speech, or sexual content.
• Sharing someone's private information, or posting unlawful content.
• Scraping, spamming, or trying to break or overload the service.

You can block anyone and report any post, person or conversation. We review reports, and we may remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts, with or without notice, to keep people safe. Read our safety guide. In an emergency call your local emergency number; we cannot respond to emergencies.

You keep ownership of what you post. You give Roomeyra permission to host, display and share it as needed to run the service, including showing a preview when someone shares a link to your post. You are responsible for what you post.

If you turn on text alerts, you agree to receive messages about matching rooms and offers at the number you verified. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.

Roomeyra is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that any post is accurate, that any person is who they say they are, or that you will find a room. A verified badge means a phone number was confirmed. It is not a background check. To the fullest extent the law allows, Roomeyra is not liable for disputes, losses or injuries arising from meetings or agreements between members.
